I wonder how you feel

When you speak those words to me

I wonder how powerful you think you are

When you drag my weaknesses into the ground

I wonder how you feel

When you spill those lies

I wonder how brave you think you are

When you’ve stolen my courage

I wonder how you feel

When you make me crazy

I wonder how smart you think you are

When you make me feel dumb as rocks

I wonder how you feel

When you grow tired of me

I wonder how clever you think you are

When you trick me into that familiar guilt

I wonder how you feel

When you give me that silent treatment

I wonder how loving you think you are

When you never say those three words to me

I wonder how you feel

When you make me think I am second best

I wonder how great you think you are

When you make me feel unworthy of greatness
