The Watcher’s Eclipse

They lurk where I can’t see them

Dancing in the blackened sky

I try to flee, fear at an all time high

My thoughts become hazy as I picture their faces

I seen the truth through their embraces

Angelic smiles, cruel hearts

Tainted souls, violent lust

Hopes and dreams reduced to dust

Bleeding, laughing, crying, moaning

They guide me down to the pit of no return

Into the basin of fire is where I burn

They watch as my body melts and dissolves

Cries of ecstasy, despair, triumph intensifying

Echoing, merging, and fading

As the bells ring loudly from a far

Angels descend and blow on their trumpets

The souls raise up, evoked by the music

Red sky, black clouds

At long last

The end is upon us

Behold the eclipse
