Anchorwomen Gymnastics resides in The Murray Center, where they’re equipped with the most advanced and up-to-date equipment. It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or at a collegiate level, the Murray Center’s equipment supports all levels. Anyone interested in learning about gymnastics are welcome. There's also a foam pit to support practice and skill development at the safest degree. RIC is hosting a gymnastic clinic and a women's gymnastics prospect school on Oct. 22 in The Murray Center.

The clinic is from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., it costs $60, and is for kids aged eight and up. This clinic is intended for recreational gymnasts or gymnasts who are currently competing USAG Development Program Level 1-5 or XCEL Bronze & Gold. Everyone is welcome to attend. Not only can attendees practice and accelerate their gymnastics knowledge, but they’ll also learn the craft from professional coaches. If this clinic isn’t your cup of tea, and you’re an advanced gymnast — RIC has you covered.

The Prospect School is on Nov. 5 from 8 a.m. to noon. This opportunity is for high-school-aged gymnasts level 8-10 only, and will cost $100. Gymnasts who are in highschool and want to get a taste of what collegiate gymnastics is like are the intended audience. Both the clinic and the school will be run by women's gymnastics head coach Monica Mesalles Nassi. Joining Nassi are additional clinicians that include former NCAA gymnasts and members of the RIC coaching staff.

Nassi enters her fifth season coaching for the women’s gymnastics team. Before becoming head coach of the team, she spent three seasons as an assistant coach. She also was a member of the Spanish national team in both the 2004 Olympics and 2003 World championships in Anaheim, California. The kids and students who enter these clinics and schools are in good hands to simply put.

Due to space and staffing, both the clinic and schools are limited in how many people can attend. For more information on how to attend, the registration brochure is on GoAnchormen’s website, and Nassi’s email is mnassi@ric.edu.
