Pfizer COVID booster shots will be offered on Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom.
Registration is required and only 108 doses are available, so be sure to register quickly.
Insurance cards are not required, but if you have insurance your card, as your information will be collected. If possible, RIC asks that those who come to the booster clinic bring their original COVID vaccine card. As done with prior COVID vaccine doses, it’s asked to wait 15 minutes after receiving the vaccination for observation purposes.
Booster doses are recommended for those over the age of 12 and immunocompromised individuals, as this vaccine also includes protection against the Omicron BA. 4 and 5 variants. This booster also broadened the spectrum for the other variants as well.
