Josh Greenberg Show makes return for second semester Feb. 24

Josh Greenberg is back, and he’s looking for a lover.

Following a winter break hiatus, the Josh Greenberg Show returns for its first show of the second semester. Like all previous shows, February’s show put in a thorough effort of planning and writing for the occasion, a Valentine’s-themed show revolving around dating and romance.

“The Josh Greenberg Show team consists of a core team of 6 people that write, produce, advertise, and edit the program,” Greenberg said. “Plenty more friends and colleagues assist with writing, costuming, and pre-production. It is a tremendous labor of love.”

The primary guest for this month’s show will be someone Josh is extremely familiar with: his own parents, Michael and Rachel Greenberg. They have been together for 21 years and he says that he has relatively few complaints.

“If they have complaints, hopefully they come up on the show,” Greenberg said. “Maybe there'll be a big blowout fight- now that's good television!”

The show will also feature a musical performance from local singer-songwriter Jack Downey (@jackdowneymusic on Instagram), who Greenberg met through a mutual friend. 

“[Downey]’s from over at Providence College, which I try not to hold against him,” Greenberg joked.

The Josh Greenberg Show’s latest episode will be in Gaige Hall Room 100 (the auditorium) on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 8:00 pm, with doors opening at 7:30. Entry to the show is free with a RIC ID and $2 for others wishing to attend the event.
