Dr. Duff's Lost and Found Project is the number one place to get drunk. This bar has a grunge aesthetic and beholds some of the most eccentric drinks and food that creates a satisfying feeling of satiety. If you are looking to get that bang for your buck, discover your new favorite flavor and create memories, then make it a point to visit Dr. Duffs. The building's unique decor and proximity to college campuses cement it as a hub for artistic expression.

Dr. Duff's Lost and Found Project is located at 198 Putnam Pike in Johnston. Now open Tuesday through Sunday, every night offers a great atmosphere and different events. The walls are plastered with all types of brands of stickers and there are neon lights, outdoor games, retro bar stools and cut open bathtubs for further seating. The bar opens at 4 p.m. and closes at 1 a.m., after 8 p.m. all attendees must be at least 21 years of age. Weekly events include Toxic Trivia Tuesdays, Karaoke Wednesdays, Music Bingo Thursdays, as well as DJ Fridays and Saturdays.

This place is known to have the biggest 16oz craft can selection in the nation. The cocktails, shooters and fishbowls will have you calling friends or family for a ride home. The wine selection is decent for those who oppose hard alcohol and the bar also offers house ginger beer. The kitchen is open until 12:30 a.m. and serves bar snacks, sandwiches, burgers and mouth watering desserts. Make sure to read the fine print on the menu as it warns the original handcrafted sandos are "truly big AF '' and it's not a lie.

Anchor Graphics Editor Caroline Niehoff went to judge for herself and has fallen in love with the drink menu. Niehoff states, "There's always something new to try, and [the drinks are] cheap so it's easy to try different ones until you find one you like."

Niehoff continued, "The atmosphere is very welcoming and unique. My favorite section has trees with lights on them, bathtubs used as couches and countless stickers decorating the walls. It's a really cool place"

Previous Rhode Island College student and Anchor Newspaper alum David Blais explained the atmosphere of Dr. Duffs is created by a pop culture scenery demanded to be seen. He said, "Definitely has the vibes from your typical college crowd with a unique twist of a dormitory decor. The service was immaculate with everyone being so friendly and welcoming, making you feel like a longtime friend. The food is humongous and that is an understatement. The chicken sandwich lasted me three days in leftovers, safe to say it's definitely worth it."

A personal favorite is the $5 Tactical Nuclear Penguin cocktail. However on a well deserved night off, no one can go wrong with a $25 fishbowl made with love - or for the fact it's a drink called My Sister's Side Hustle. Looking to hang with friends, throw an event or are an aspiring DJ looking for a place to perform? Have you had a long day dealing with the RIC-runaround and stressing about finals? Are you a parent, doctor, student or anyone over the legal drinking age desperately needing a night off? No matter what the reason is, there is always a reason to visit Dr. Duffs Lost and Found Project in Johnston, Rhode Island!
