My mouth never saying what is right
What flies out is lies and traps, thieves
This is not who I have aimed to be
A master of faking a smile, a laugh
Deceitful queen versus her honest twin
Telling untruths to save a pitying face
Comes back to me in those eyes so bright
Told to keep it shut, lock it down
But then what flies out of smiling lips
Is darkness held by a funny tongue
Spiraling bluntness and swirling lies
I’m throwing a line of fake, it’s flung
Out into my own sea of fairytales
Princesses and frogs begging to drown
