Last week, the Anchormen hosted senior night for three of their seniors: guards C.J. Wilson, Loudon Chupas and Tyriek Weeks. I got a chance to ask the three seniors how their experience was playing at Rhode Island College.
From Tyriek Weeks: “Rhode Island College has been a new experience for me, coming for a high level, but I'm truly grateful to play my last collegiate basketball year here. I got to meet teammates that turned into my brothers, so I'm very thankful for this opportunity Coach [Sam] Ferry gave me.”

From C.J. Wilson: “Being here for 3 years taught me a lot, but mainly, being a leader. It really taught me how to lead a group of guys and can even help me off the court as I start my real life after this year. It's really gonna hit different when I play my last game in college basketball.”
From Loudon Chupas: “My time here has been pretty good. I have only been here for 2 years. I got recruited after I hit the portal in my sophomore year. I came here not really expecting anything, just trying to play my best so I can get that starting spot. [I] eventually got that spot where I started my whole junior year. I think I was a key piece to our success [and] started senior year as well.”

At the time of writing, the Anchormen have finished up the season, a loss at Keene State College in the first round of the Little East Conference Tournament, 101-81.
