Graduates from the class of 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018 and 2017 are all invited to Ogie's Trailer Park for a well deserved grad party. The Rhode Island College Alumni Association is uniting graduates in one location for a mixer meant specifically for a good time: New & Recent Grad Party at Ogies. Although – this event does prompt an opportunity for the graduates of 2022 to network for their impending future.
The Alumni Association says, “come and enjoy a night at Ogie’s where light refreshments and one free drink will be provided.” Admission is free for those from the Class of 2017 - 2022, including 2022 graduating undergraduates, Masters and Doctorates. Admission for guests attending with graduates is $5 per guest. The outdoor tiki bar creates the perfect essence for the jump into summer and the transition to graduation.
Ogie's Trailer Park is located at 1155 Westminster Street, Providence, RI 02909. The event is taking place on Thursday, April 28 from 5:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. Parking space around Ogie’s is limited but there is street parking around, and the drinks make the extra two minutes of parking worth it. This venue consists of 66 AmeriCans of Beer, Guiness and some of Providence’s best dishes. This event is your chance to try the Ogie’s specialty southern rhody fried chicken sandwich with slab bacon – with a nice Zombie in hand this mixer will become one of the utmost best RIC memories.
Tickets for the New & Recent Grad Party need to be secured through Eventbrite and registration will be open until the day of the event.
